This is not really going to be a review, more like thoughts on the foundation itself (my shade is 002 Vanilla, great match for my pale skin). It's just quite brief, I'm at work and I have some time to spare and nothing to do so I thought that I will do some very needed blogging. First of all, here's what Revlon claims:
"Revlon PhotoReady™ Makeup - For poreless, airbrushed skin in any light "

Do I agree? Certainly but I have a few doubts. It has a SPF15 filter so I don't understand how it's Photoready? Doesn't SPF make your face appear whiter (the higher the filter, the whiter you'll look)? No thanks, I don't want to look like a zombie in my photos. I have dry skin and this foundation accenturates the dry patches on my face. It's not nice, makes me look like a pastry (you know, pastries have layers and are flaky? haha, sorry just a random thought!). Also it doesn't cover all your imperfections so if there's anything major that needs full coverage - you will have to use a heavy duty concealer because i would say this is a light-medium coverage foundation. The consistency is quite runny, but no so it runs down your hand! Many people have mentioned 'The Cullen Effect'. Well frankly, it was really exaggerated, i like it because it gives my skin a glow that I don't normally have. The packaging is great, there is a pump so that makes it more hygienic and easier to use. Mess-free I would call it.The bottle is quite chunky and heavy so not really a make-up bag material. I'm quite uncertain about this foundation, I like it but I hate it because it makes my dry skin so much more visible - I'm yet to try it with a primer as I heard that it makes dry skin disappear and it looks lovely! So when I try it out with a primer I will let you ladies know! :)
PROS:
*gives a glow
*sufficient coverage
*easy application
*nice, handy packaging
*consistency
CONS :
*accenturates dry skin
*re-touching after 4-6hrs
*SPF15(i know it's a good thing, but this is supposed to be a Photoready foundation)
Would I repurchase? probably not, I always try different foundations with my problem skin (dry & big pores)
Arghhh... I have been a very very bad girl. Spending every penny. I picked up more clothes and makeup recently. I have to say my shopaholism is coming back to me now. Definitely not a good thing. Oh well ... Anyways, I decided to decicate this post to makeup that I've purchased. I will do a separate one on clothes :)

Left to right :
* Maybelline Superstay Foundation (in Cameo 020)
* Barry M LipPaint in 101 Marshmallow (light pastel pink)
* Barry M Glossy Tube in no.4
* Barry M LipPaint in 136 (golden pink, nude)
* L'Oreal Superliner Carbon Gloss
* Revlon Nail Varnish in Minted

Swatches of the products (left to right): LipPaint no.136, LipPaint no.101, Glossy Tube no.4 and then at the botton L'Oreal Superliner.
I have to say that I'm overall happy :D They had 3 for 2 on all Barry M at Boots so I thought I would treat myself (of course with my beloved Boots points), then they gave out a voucher if you spent over £5 for Revlon and L'oreal, I had two of these therefore the Superliner and the Nail Varnish ( I wouldn't normally spend over £6 on a Revlon nail varnish, I'd rather put in an extra £2 and get an Essie one)
Maybelline Superstay 24hr Foundation - I don't buy drugstore foundation but I quite wanted to try this for everyday wear. I will still use my Dior Nude though! It was at an introductory price of £6.99 so I thought I'd give it a shot. It has an SPF19, and a 'new Micro-Flex Stretch Formula' haha, how revolutionary. It's supposed to be 24hr non-transfew but I really doubt that it is. It has a pump too, which is nice. I don't like foundations which haven't got pumps. I really hope I picked the right colour (Cameo no.020)...
Revlon Nail Varnish in Minted - I love this! It's been sold out and sought after. I picked up the last one at my local Boots - and it's nowhere to be found (my friends were jealous). The colour is pastely and would look lovely with a tan, I don't have a tan but I like it nonetheless.
Barry M LipPaint - I have these in no.101, no.136 and Touch Of Magic (green turns to pink). I like them, they're good value at £4.25 and often there's 2 for 3 deals at Boots or Superdrug. They give off satisfactory colour ( at least in the colour that I have, I cannot say that they're bold colours though)
Barry M Glossy Tubes - I like the colour I got (no.4) it's a shiny (shimmerless) nude! I see exactly where the name comes from - Glossy and they are indeed! It smells of bubblegum, but I can't give a proper opinion because I haven't tested it properly, only swatched it on my hand.
L'Oreal Superliner - It's line pen and ink for eyes! The applicator makes it easy to put it on ( one of my first liquid liners put me off them because the application was a torture!). It's like a pencil - you can hold the end of the wand, and put it on .. just wherever. Love love love this. Can't talk about staying on power yet.
I like what I got :) But i have to say that it's a significant amount of dosh gone ... I just can't help myself. I will probably do a proper review on one or two products later on in the month when I have properly tested them.
Lots of love my darlingssssss x x x
